Cegeps maintain close ties with companies and public institutions to better meet job market needs. Therefore, not only do they ensure upgrading and retraining of the labour force, they also offer training and technological support services to businesses. Moreover, they set up 42 technology transfer centres to carry out applied research to contribute to the development of key sectors in Québec’s economy.
A presence in 50 countries
Apart from offering training stints abroad, many institutions have focused on policies and action plans aimed at internationalization.
